Why does it happen?
All friendships are open to conflict because each person in the friendship is an individual with different backgrounds, personalities, ways of seeing the world and ideas. Think about it, even if you and your siblings share the same parents, you still grow up liking different things. What more your friends that were brought up by different parents? Of course, since you chose your friends you probably have a lot in common, but you should never forget that you all have differences. Knowing and respecting each one's uniqueness and differences will help you accept and find a way through any friendship challenge you may have to face.
